And it starts!
Day 1 of a new season is done! I am instantly reminded of why I go through the long summers in the gym. It's the reason why even though I've started working on what's comes next I'm just not ready to give this up. It felt so good to be on a sled again!!
And since I've been pretty terrible at updating this, the what comes next refers to going back to school last fall. I'm now a full-time student at the U of C in Civil Engineering. And by full-time I mean I'm taking the minimum 3 courses, which, coincidently, is the maximum I can handle while training and competing.
The track in Calgary was in surprisingly good condition which is awesome and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week here, then heading to whistler next week!
